It’s bench boost time for the ATFPL picks as we look to continue our assent up the rankings. Currently sat at the 50K mark which is our highest since gameweek 15, were looking to finish strongly so read on as we declare our gameweek 37 squad along with the customary reason and justification that may just help in your squad decisions…
With the Bench Boost in play there’s simply too much to go through in terms of the squad with no decision having to be made in terms of who sits out. Instead, here’s some of our answers to the pressing questions this gameweek facing fantasy managers;
Can we be confident that Spurs will be the force they are if Chelsea secure the title tonight?
Based off last season the answer would be a categorical no but this is a vastly improved Spurs team with another year under their belts. Inexperience has been replaced with guile as the amount of games Mauricio Pochettino’s men have won in the last ten minutes indicates and then add the last ever game at White Hart Lane as we know it and fantasy managers should be confident the likes of Alli, Eriksen and Kane will stand up and deliver in gameweek 37.
Can we expect rotation to hit Chelsea after winning the title?
Not this gameweek. They have the win it first and foremost, something we expect Antonio Conte’s men to do tonight. Then you have to imagine that the Italian will reward the men who have delivered them success, playing them against Watford in what is sure to have a party atmosphere. However, gameweek 38 with the FA cup final to prepare for we could see rotation with John Terry all but certain to start. He may even get the Watford game as well.
What can be done if you’re chasing your mini league leader?
Sergio Aguero has been in full training this week offering up a massive differential for those who have to look at doing something different. Add that Manchester City need to secure their Champions League spot along with the manager wanting to see both Kun and Jesus on the field, can we count on the Argentine playing at least 120 minutes over the double gameweek? Home to Leicester City and West Brom is some mighty fixtures to get involved with.
Can you predict the Arsenal defence?
Rob Holding at just 4.0 million has come to the forefront as a fantasy option this gameweek after two impressive appearances but with Laurent Koscielny not far away from returning along with Mustafi returning last week, are fantasy managers one week too late in drafting Holding? Well, the Picks squad has done exactly that with Robert Huth struggling for the weekend but it’s not with the thinking that we will get 180 minutes of action from the young Englishman. It’s more to do with gaining a bit of budget to play around with on the final day combined with knowing at least 90 minutes is all but certain for the centre half. Are they enough reasons for yourself?
Which double gameweek star should we captain?
Captain Foresight has once again had it’s say on the matter but for the Picks squad we’ve backed Jesus to deliver in City’s two home games. The Brazilian wonderkid in four full games has yet to fail averaging averaging 8.75 points per game and we expect this impressive feat to continue.
Best of luck to everyone in this crucial mini league deciding gameweek!
