Each week let this be the 1st stop for all your League and Cup updates of All things FPL (ATFPL) competitions. ATFPL weekly will bring you a preview and review of the ATFPL’s 6 Head-to-head (H2H) leagues along with eye catching match ups in the ATFPL Members Cup. You’ll also find a review of the week’s Official AllthingsFPL.com and ATFPL Pro classic leagues.
Jon Pears and his aptly named team “The Champs**” remain top of the pile on 2152 points. Jon has been riding high in 1st position for months now as Billy Ketsu had played chase from 2nd place. This week though we have a new challenger in the form of Osman Ahmed and his team BlackFire FC. Jumping Billy into 2nd he has 2137 points after an impressive 78 point gamewwek.
Called a ninja in the last edition of Weekly when he split the former top 2 of Jon Pears and Billy Ketsu, newcomer Mervyn Glasgow and his team GForce Allstars proved the words true. Mervyn now holds the coveted top spot in the ATFPL Pro classic league on 2180 points. With 28 points of a cushion to Jon, the upcoming double gameweeks and captaincy choice will be crucial should he wish to hold his late rise to the summit .
A little catch up required as we congratulate the handful of Winners of “Most points in a gameweek”..
Gameweek 33: Chen Kok Yeong and his team Fantasy Gentleman
with 87 points. Making the decision to Triple Captain Kane edged out the competition as his 36 points pushed Chen above everyone else.
Gameweek 34: Kapil Patwardhan and his team Kapster with 93 points. All in on Manchester Utd (33 points) and Captain pick in Benteke (24 points) pushed Kapilfor the win.
Gameweek 35: Michael Hutchison and his team BigHutch with 87 points. Only 1 man helped Michael towards his win and that was Eldin Jakupovic. A penalty save, clean sheet and 3bps for the clean sweep.
Manager of the Month for April is Sandy George and his team “It’s Conteastic”. Being a 5 gameweek month Sandy had totals of 77, 90, 74, 92 and 65 to finish the month on an impressive 415 points.

Charlatan Athletic vs Gummi
Beepbeep vs Salvo
Caesarcaesar vs Oberetta
Good luck folks.
Billy Ketsu – CHAMPION
League winner with 3 gameweeks to spare Billy Ketsu and his team “whack your porcupine” have an unassailable lead of 12 points over 2nd placed TyrannosavrvsPvlis’s “TeoremaDeTales”. Congratulations Billy.
Gummi leads Albertini by 3 points (69 to 66), he’s been stuttering lately only picking up 1 win in 3 gameweeks as Albertini has picked up 2 in 3. Only 1 of these 2 managers can win the league now, who will be first to blink.
Jstippins leads our very own Darsh by 6 points, 84 to 78. With only 3 gameweeks left Darsh needs Jstippins to lose 3 matches in 3 when he’s only lost 5 in the previous 35 gameweeks. A tall order but at this end of the season anything can happen.
Lefa Finland currently leads the ATFPL Picks team in score, 1985 to 1925, because both teams are drawn on 66 points. The reality is the top 5 in this group can still win it with 3rd through 5th on 65, 64 and 63 points.
Jeppe Vrakking – CHAMPION
A win last week over Callum and a defeat for Double Blue, his closest competitor, took Jeppe to the magical 12 point threshold and to the coveted title of Champion. Congratulation Jeppe.
The ATFPL Picks team are out in front by 1 win, they lead Mikelfc1 by 69 points to 66. Bigchrisso on 65 points and Nataf on 64 are both still in the reckoning as well.
The 12th Man!
A couple of weeks of red followed by a week of green. Not what we were hoping for after our nice little climb up the rankings but such is Rollercoaster FPL.
Scoring 54 points this week, only 11 above the average we were saved on 2 accounts:
1. Aguero was Aguero. Scoring and assisting to get the 3 bps was great as he was our Captain
2. Siggy popped up with a cracker of a free kick.
Without them we were surely on for another slump in the rankings.
Here’s how we were sitting:
Walker – Valencia – Alonso
Zaha – Siggy – Alli – Coutinho
Aguero – Lukaku – Gabbiadini
BENCH:Pickford Gibson Capoue Holgate
Like most we are wildcarding this week and like most were looking kind of template. Perhaps we’ll find inspiration in FUtR or Tommy’s Differentials.
