  1. Hi guys just found about the bad news on wednesday 😢 I would struggle for words to sing the praise on this site as I’m not the most articulate writer but I guess I would not add much to all the great posts I’ve seen in the last pages (I totally echo them). I feel double sad as I’ve been a bit egocentric and selfish wining about a terrible season so far and driving away from Fpl and this site when, in reality, this community is for me a huge part of what makes Fpl so fun! I fully support Tommy in his decision and congratulations on the baby Tom! It’s hard to find balance but family and life decisions always come first (it’s a no brainer) Before I found the news I was preparing a bit of a farewell too, myself going through some rough changes, as I’m moving countries 😭 and don’t know if I would get internet connection 😢 hope I do to join the new alternatives that some of you have created. Don’t want to get too melodramatic but I’ve been feeling sad about the state of the world lately (having to move countries might have the fault) and you can easily see it in forums, comment pages, etc everybody are short fused for animosity, angry at each other and very often violent BUT this community is a HUGE testament of how a group of people should communicate and interact nicely!!! If this proves to be the bitter goodbye I wish all the best for all of you and I respect you all greatly! 👋

    PS: F*ck ffs 😠😂

    1. Aguero is some way off dropping. Not tonight that’s for sure but keep an eye on it.

      A price drop won’t rush me anyway. There’s CL to be played. See how it goes.

  2. Pulis sacked 😁. I know a few will disagree but a big win for football. Just Southampton and Brighton to go then sky sports may even start to be actually worth the money ….i said might 😂

      1. Your not far wrong. I just want a bit of value on a Sunday. Not treated to the west broms, Brighton and Southampton of the footballing world. Anti – football Sunday

        1. There is reason everybody is on BURN defensive bandwagon, blocks-tackles-low possession and snatch a goal over 90 minutes. I loved Moyes at EVE, he kept it respectable on a limited budget. Fans like to watch good football but don’t want to get relegated either, you got to pick what you want 😉

    1. I am an admirer of Pulis from a coaching perspective – from a purely clinical perspective, his teams are worth watching. From a fan’s perspective or neutral’s perspective it is absolutely dire viewing. I hope the British are coming round to the Eddie Howes and the like of the managing world, but you tend to see the same old names recycled. I admire Sean Dyche as well, but very much on the Pulis mode.

      I think managers of the minnows and lower end of the table teams in the Prem do have to close up shop against the top attacking sides (even Mou does), but when you see the quality Watford showed yesterday, you know teams can play good football even without a lineup of big name players. I tend to think Silva would have Everton humming in very short order if he moved there; hope he stays at Watford but I totally understand Everton’s interest.

      1. ok, I will give you that….will the alternatives* to Haz outscore him though between now and new year?

        *=excludes Salah/Richarlison/Sterling who I own

        1. Unless Hazard turns into Sanchez kinda greedy they might match or stay close to Hazard, 1-2m invested elsewhere means you need to compare combination with Hazard / other option.

        2. Probably not but what could that extra 1-2 mil do for you elsewhere is the question. Morata is an essential and you can’t be faulted for having Hazard. He is a bit to rich for my budget.

    1. I think Morata represents good value against the other big budget forwards. I think Hazard may very well outscore other midfield options, but not by so much that he represents real value. It would not surprise me to see Salah, Coutinho, Eriksen, Sane, Silva, and Sterling stay in Hazard’s points ball park, all at less money.

      1. have hazard and was tempted to downgrade but after this week’s performance can i afford to especially given the rotation risks of the Manchester players?

  3. Is Abraham + Eriksen + BDavies -> Morata + Richarlison + 4.5m Def (-4) too much of a knee-jerk reaction?

    alternatively:
    B) Abraham + Eriksen + BDavies -> Hazard + Callum Wilson + 5m Def (-4)
    C) Abraham + BDavies -> Wilson + Otamendi / Vertonghen

    Elliot (Foster)
    Jones / Daniels / B.Davies (Mee, Naughton)
    Salah / Sterling / Eriksen / Gross (Carroll)
    Kane / Lukaku / Abraham

    1. A for me, Swansea are not scoring heavily so for a 3rd striker he is a bit hit and miss. Morata and Richarlison are not knee jerk they are proven assets by now. Wilson is definitely a bit knee-jerky. BOU have several options up front so there is rotation risk as well. Have Eriksen and considering cashing out, could be one to regret later.

      1. I know what you mean about Eriksen. He’s a proven performer and will definitely come good but it’s hard to deal with 4 blanks from a 9.5m player. Unfortunately with Champions League this week i’m going to pray that the prices don’t move against me.

        I also still have an unused WC but I don’t think any drastic surgery is needed. Still sitting nicely at 12k OR but had 3 red arrows in a row from 3k in the last few weeks.
