  1. Hi guys, what’s the situation with Bernardo Silva? Do you think he’ll be likely to play on Wednesday considering the busy period of fixtures coming up? I have seen any of him – is he looking good?

  2. Having a nightmare trying to respond to RDL’s last message.
You have a similar squad to mine in some ways.
I have a decision to make to bring in either Hazard, Sterling, Niasse and Mariappa for a -8 or
Austin, Gross, Sterling and Azpilicueta in stages for -4 worst case.
    My squad would then be
    De Gea Elliot
    Azpilicueta Monreal Ward Gomez Naughton
    Salah Sterling Richarlison Gross RLC
    Kane Morata Austin.
I think I prefer that more solid team with a busy schedule coming up.
    Thoughts RDL particularly.

    1. The need for hazard alone in this form is what convinced me to go with the unusual -8 mate . This new role he’s showing glimpses of a few seasons ago where he was the best in the game

I prefer the top one. Could you go for zeeglaar over Mariappa at all? Extra. 4 ?

I am a huge Austin fan but his fixtures are awful. I’d need to assess him over the next couple. Southampton are not usually full of goals , Everton are poor to say the least

For info a lot of the very good consistent high finishers in my ml have taken 2, 3 and one even 6 hits. A lot of players ripping their teams apart to fit in Hazard and morata. Makes me feel a bit better.

      1. Interesting point of view. Now I’ve brought Gross in I’ve started the chain. I couldn’t get Zeeglar, 0.1 short. When I looked I thought Austin’s fixtures were mixed. I Don’t fancy Everton at the moment, Don’t know who Big Sam will go for up front.
I’m going for the solid route with the busy schedule in mind.
Interesting to see if Hazard outscores Azpilicueta over the next few games. I have the option of Sane too with this route. Bit more flexible. I like the look of the squad, and yours too! ☺⚽

        1. Sane sterling double up is where I would be with no Hazard. Be careful though sane is on 4yc

Tactical yc tomorrow and rest vs West ham?

          1. I hadn’t realised Sane was in 4 yellows, good point.
You do have a cynical mind!!

          2. No he’s on 4 mate. He got his 3rd vs West brom in cup

He was booked after the final whistle vs Hudders

      1. Where do i start

        Alli don’t wanna be there
Alder and wanyama out is huge
I think Poch be better sticking with 1 set of full backs rather than changing.

And as much as I like Poch….he doesn’t have much of a plan B at times . Hard to curse him though, he’s a great man and manager. That’s his only real negative

      1. “I think that we have to make the best decision game by game, to try to find the best solution for the team, also to give the right rest to my players,” Conte said when asked if Morata would start.

“Last time, Morata played three games in a row, the third game against Manchester City he was injured. I have to pay great attention in all situations to try to take sometimes the risk. This is my job. I like to do this.”

          1. If he rests Morata and doesn’t get the result he’s looking for then the chase for title will be over imo. You never see kane or Lukaku rested and rightly so. These players should be able to play in all League games and champions league games and rested for all other competition’s. Pepe can do it because he has two top strikers. I.e. if you have players like Jesus and Agureo in the same team then resting one of them makes it a lot easier but who have Chelsea or man utd had in recent times to do the same.

  3. Current team:

    Fabianski • Elliot
    Jones • Davies • Mee • Naughton • Rosenior
    Sterling • Salah • Ramsey • Richarlison • Carroll
    Kane • Aguero • Vardy

    2 FT, 0 ItB

    Thoughts on potential transfers?

I’m thinking that with a FT to use, Jones to Smalling as a direct swap. How much of a game time risk is Smalling because really going to need 5 playing defenders over the Xmas rotation period.

  4. Hi Guys,

I have the exact money to do Cork > Hazard and Alonso to Christensen.

Appreciate the latter one is v sideways for a -4 but Alonso must be downgraded to free up funds for Haz.

I am now convinced that 5 playing mids is the recipe for success in FPL. Aguero and Jesus are game time risks. Lukaku while consistent is not explosive and Kane is frustrating. I intend to rotate Gross, Richarlison and Wilson based on the fixture.

I appreciate the defence could be improved and i need a better keeper. I can always downgrade Sane back to Sterling, Kane to Lukaku or Wilson to Niasse. And play the same tactic.

    Thoughts?

    Team is linked.

    1. If you’re not sure about the 5 mid logic then just have a look at the top few midfielder scores vs the top few strikers. Compare prices…

Aguero, Morata, Lukaku and Kane (72-75 pts) are about as effective as Pascal Gross (73pts). The man once cost 5.4m FFS.

      Cheers.

        1. As I’m doing similar I agree with your logic. Premium fwds have been a pain/disappointment so far. Going OTT myself on the mids by having 5 premium guys (is Richarlison premium?) balanced by Niasse who will be first sub most days to cover rotation. Hopefully the new Everton manager fancies Niasse. Have Jones & Otamendi + a rotating trio. 1 mil OR so got to gamble.

          1. I’ve made the jump boys. Thanks for your input. At the end of the day I’m only 2 transfers away from moving back to the “template” if needs be.

Yes, aware the defence needs work but i can free up funds over the next couple of weeks to improve that. Jones will be on the radar when he’s fit again and has dropped .2 or .3 from his peak value!

The question is whether Richarlison is the correct man to bench…

            Elliot
            Lowton, Mustafi, Kiko
            Hazard (C), Salah, Gross, Sane
            Wilson, Morata (VC), Kane

            Speroni, Richarlison, Naughton, Mbemba.

  5. Silva is very definitely a slow burn; he’ll get to 170 points if he remains fit and he’s also my only City asset but he typically caps at about 8-9 points. Thinking about Hazard til the new year. On the other hand, I am in a position to fix my defense and Silva will continue to roll along.

    DDG/Eliot
    Alonso/Matip/Hegazi/Schindler/Britos
    Salah/Silva/Richarlison/Groß/Carroll
    Kane/Morata/Wilson
    2.2 mil itb, 1 FT

    Thinking either –
    (1) Hazard/Tarkowski in for Silva/Matip, -4, 0.5 mil itb
    (2) Bellerin in for Britos, 0.6 mil itb

    Thoughts ?

  6. Have we found a solution to keeping this site open? Are the any ways we can make this happen? Its too good to be shut down just like that.
