  1. I’m a bit confused
    Pogba? /D. Silva? >> Hazard
I don’t lose value on either but either way, I lose access to a Manchester attack.

    Current Team:

    DDG (Elliot)
    Ward, Otamendi, Daniels (Naughton, Goldson)
Salah, D. Silva, Pogba, Grob (Carroll)
    Kane, Morata, Wilson

    1FT 3.4ITB

Silva > Hazard allows me do Naughton > Mustafi and leaves 0.1 for Pogba > Sterling (if necessary and if prices hold)

With Pogba > Hazard, I have to do Silva > Sterling before I can do Naughton > Mustafi

What do you guys think? Who should I hold?

    1. Has to be Silva, Silva is ticking along nicely with assists but not many goals. Value is dropping as players are looking for more goal threat. Pogba is more explosive and at 8 mil has a great chance for added value. One less move is also a plus.

  2. Hi guys!

My current defense is: Moreno – Kiko – Daniels – Jones – Mbemba

I want to replace one of Mbemba or Jones, can you give me advice on which one to replace and for whom? Don´t want to spend more than 5.2…

    Thanks in advance

    1. Don’t get rid of Jones unless out for long time! Considering you’ve got Daniels, Kiko and Moreno the only other player I can think of with good fixtures at that price is Maguire!?

        1. re Mkh above, true, i’d want a 8 mil MID to be playing and playing well. He is still owned by 10% so has a chance to fall further than 7.8m. Just if he gets back and looks like he has recaptured some form he would represent good value. I don’t see it happening anytime soon.

          1. I’m pretty sure his decline was in line with Pogba getting injured so now Pog is back he could get back to form!? Having said that I’m sure I read Mourinho quotes saying how disappointed he was with him …something like ‘ we’re not talking 2-3 bad games, we’re talking 5 or so bad games’ and some pundit was talking bout how he could see him sold in Jan! Can’t find the link atm but wouldn’t buy him just yet myself

      1. IMO I think Jones should go asap. Injured and then next to games are ars/MCI I don’t see any reason to hold. With Rojo back I think there will be rotation too.

If you hold Jones, you will lose TV and have a non playing big budget def taking up room in your squad.

@KNM, have you thought about Christensen maybe? 5.4 a bit more than what you wanna spend, but looks a good player and Chelsea have decent fixtures.

        1. I got Jones at 5m so for myself it would be silly to get rid! He could still be back this week/weekend and he’s part of the best defence in the league who will always look to prevent goals more than score them so even against the best teams has good chance of CSs! He gets bonus points and is the only ‘set and forget’ player for that price who you could play every week regardless of fixtures imo, with Christensen, Davies, Trippier, Smalling etc all being rotation risks while Jones has started every prem game he’s been fit for the last year! I’m keeping unless he’s ruled out for long period and just hope the injections keep his dodgy legs going!!

  3. Mbemba to Mariappa (double WAT) will only cost you .1 but with Prodl and Kaboul returning from injury you may end up in the same situation as with Mbemba.

Theres no one around 5.0-5.2 that I would really go for. 5.3 Lovren (knock) at home is a good option.

You need some BUR def, go with Tarkowski still 4.5 put close to a rise. Why Ward is still being bought at 5.0 is beyond me, hasn’t had attacking returns in weeks and more are unlikely.

    1. Yes Mariappa doesn´t seem nailed on for the Xmas schedule…
Tarkowski seems a good entry point to Burnley indeed.
Thanks for the advice, I´ll fiddle some more but its getting tough to find nailed on defenders for the next 6 with good fixtures at that price point…

        1. I know Zeegelaar very well, doubt he´ll last through the Xmas period… so its a risk.
Do we think Christensen is nailed on?
I did look at Mustafi, just not sure I should spend all that… might be worth though…

    1. Kane and Hazard here… I´ll be (C)ing Hazard, if I only had Morata he would be the (C) anyway. Not that I don´t see Kane scoring, is just the Chelsea momentum that I´m valuing.

      1. Just as I thought the comments would be…. a toss up between Kane and Morata for captain. I was on Morata yesterday then Kane this morning now I’m Not sure, I guess I’ll go with my gut feeling which means I’ll end up with Kane as my captain. Kane is 100% sure of starting where’s morata imo is 75% chance of starting. Would hate to captain Morata and he comes on last 10 min for 2pts

  4. Ozil could rejoin the group in training today. The German playmaker was sent home [from Burnley] by the club-doctor on Sunday morning. His replacement at Turf Moor – Iwobi – picked up a knock and “may not be available.”
Wenger’s team selection [vs Huddersfield] will not be affected by this weekend’s upcoming clash with Man United. “The most important game is tomorrow.

    1. Junior Stanislas is “unlikely” to recover from a groin problem in time to face Burnley on Wednesday. However, Jermain Defoe is in contention following his recovery from a minor calf strain. Southampton this weekend is a more realistic return date for Junior Stanislas [groin] but Jermain Defoe “should” be back in contention. Eddie Howe will consult with the medical team [ahead of the game] to confirm his availability
Captain Simon Francis returns after serving a one-match ban. Meanwhile, defensive teammate Tyrone Mings is working outside – with the sports science team – as he continues to recover from a back injury. Brad Smith and Adam Federici are long-term absentees.

    2. Emre Can trained with the main group on Monday night but there was no sign of Dejan Lovren or Adam Lallana in the official pictures posted on the Liverpool website. Emre Can is fit for the trip to Stoke. A late decision will be made on centre-back Dejan Lovren who is said to be ‘close’.
Klopp hints Mane and Firmino are poised for a return tomorrow night. “It’s not completely unlikely they will start.”

    3. Rafa hints at change: “Some players know that when you play Saturday then Tuesday, some players have not recovered,” he said. “You have to be sure you have different bodies on the pitch.”
Hayden returns following his ban and Merino is pushing for a start after injury.
United trio could miss out at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. “How long? Not for this game [vs WBA],” said Rafa on the availability of Atsu, Lascelles and Dummett. “Chelsea? Very difficult for all three.”

    4. Matt Lowton faces a late fitness test after picking up a knock during the 1-0 defeat by Arsenal.
Jon Walters trained with the main group today – for the first time – since sustaining a knee injury over two months ago.

      1. For christs sake. I got Lowton in the other week. Made 0.1 sell price on him already though but could really do with him fit.

Cheers for keeping us in the loop.

    5. Conte says it will be important to rotate – ahead of a busy period of games – to keep his players’ concentration high, and to keep them physically fresh too.
A knee problem will keep David Luiz out of tomorrow’s game. Charly Musonda is also out. Michy Batshuayi and Kenedy are trying ‘to come back to 100 per cent’.
Victor Moses is back in contention after recovering from a hamstring strain. Conte admits he does not know how long a knee injury will keep David Luiz out.

    6. Wagner: “I have no concerns about our fitness but sometimes it makes sense to bring fresh legs into our group. We have several options and will decide tomorrow after training.” #HTAFC
Van La Parra will miss out following his dismissal on Sunday.
No fresh injury concerns for Huddersfield. Chelsea loanee Kasey Palmer isn’t available for tomorrow “but he will be in the near future.” Wagner has spoken to Van La Parra following his sending-off. “He completely understood, apologised to his teammates and now we move on.

    7. Unsworth on deploying Mirallas in a more advanced role on Sunday: “We felt Kevin could give us something extra up front with his pace. It’s a position he’s been desperate to play in.
Unsworth confirms Leighton Baines [calf] and Michael Keane [head] are both doubtful for West Ham. “We’ll see how Mason Holgate [groin] is when we train tonight.”

      1. Leighton Baines and Michael Keane are both doubts for Wednesday after being forced off at Southampton on Sunday. Yannick Bolasie, Seamus Coleman, Ross Barkley and James McCarthy could all be “back in a few weeks”

  5. Would appreciate any last minute advice before this weeks deadline. Current team is:

    Elliot (Fabianski)
    S.Ward, Walker, Davies (Jones, Cedric)
    Hazard, Richardson, Sarah, Choupo-Moting, Carroll
    Kane, Calvert-Lewin (Abraham)

I have already brought in Calvert-Lewin this week and have around 4.5 million in the bank plus one extra free transfer.

Plan is to bring in a Chelsea defender then upgrade Carroll or Abraham for a -4.

    a) Abraham & Davies to Morata & Christensen
    b) Carroll & Davies to Sterling & Alonso.
    c) any other suggestions

    I’d appreciate any thoughts.
    Thanks

  6. Captain dilemma… Really need some help here:

    Current squad:

    Foster (Elliot)
Mustafi – Kiko – Mee (Wimmer, Naughton)
    Salah – Hazard – Sané – Richarlison – RLC
    Kane – Morata (Wilson)

I am chasing in my mini league, and I’m so tempted to captain Hazard to get some gain. But is it to risky, looking at Conte’s comments on rotation? Or is it worth the risk? (took a -4 hit to bring in Hazard and Morata for Eriksen and Agüero)

    Thoughts?

    1. I think Kane is possibly the safe bet for that reason…also not sure that I would play RLC over Wilson despite his recent good form.

      1. Main reason to bench Wilson is that he plays Burnley… Agree that Kane is the safe bet, the question is if it’s worth to take a risk on Hazard because I’m chasing.

  7. Hi guys!

    Elliot
    Davies – Otamendi – Jones
    Salah – Richarlison – Eriksen – Gross
    Morata – Kane – Murray
    Foster / RLC / Naughton / Kiko

    1FT and 1.5itb

I know we have finally stepped right into Rotation GWs!

    Options:
    A. Not sure bout Eriksen, hasn’t produced for weeks … Eriksen -> Hazard
    B. Eriksen for a MCI midf … D. Silva?
    C. Who to play .. Elliot / Foster
    D. Capt.armb: Kane / Morata / Hazard
    C.

    1. A. Haz
      C. I’d go Foster (Newcastle are poor defensive unit without Lascelles & Merino)
      D. No idea…I’m having the same dilemma myself (leaning towards Kane)

    2. A over B

C Foster – as at home, def looked better against Spurs last time out.

      D Morata

E Upgrade Jones due to GT risks all the time. Naughton & Kiko have tough fixtures this week if coming off the bench.
