Austrian Football Association president Peter Schöttel has dismissed suggestions they have received an approach from Bayern Munich for coach Ralf Rangnick.
Former Manchester United interim boss Rangnick has reportedly moved to the top of Bayern’s wishlist as they look to replace Thomas Tuchel, who has announced he will leave the Allianz Arena at the end of the season.

The deposed Bundesliga champions have turned to Rangnick after a host of reported targets opted against moving to Bavaria.
Julian Nagelsmann signed a new contract with the German national team, Xabi Alonso decided to stay with title-winning Bayer Leverkusen while, this afternoon, it was announced Unai Emery was to prolong his stay at Aston Villa.
Munich newspaper TZ report the Bayern board have subsequently settled on Rangnick but they will have to prise him out of his current job first.
Schöttel told SID: “Ralf Rangnick has a contract. And the OFB have had no inquiries.
“The full focus is on Euro 2024.”
Rangnick guided Austria to the finals in Germany this summer where they will face France, Netherlands and Poland in Group D.
The 65-year-old, whose deal with Austria runs until 2026, has worked with Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund before at RB Salzburg.
