Oliver Glasner is confident he has found “one or two weaknesses” that Crystal Palace can exploit when they host Manchester City tomorrow.
Pep Guardiola’s City continue their quest to become the first team in English football to win the top-flight in four successive years when they go to Selhurst Park on the back of a 24-match unbeaten run in all competitions.

City swept Aston Villa aside 4-1 on Wednesday night but Glasner felt he uncovered areas of their game that his side can attack.
He told the BBC: “I like these games because it challenges you.
”We were sitting together on Wednesday with our analysts and they showed us many clips and then we were talking and discussing about what we can do and what fits to our players.
“We cannot say that we want to play like Liverpool or Arsenal or Wolverhampton, we want to play like Crystal Palace.
“We said okay, we think this can work but we have to prove it tomorrow.
“They have maybe the best manager in the world and they prepare for every situation in the world – it’s not too easy to find weaknesses but we think we have found one or two situations that happened let’s say more often and can also fit to us and we want to use, but we have to prove it tomorrow.”
Glasner succeeded Roy Hodgson as Palace boss in February and has one win and five points from his first five games in charge.
The Austrian concedes he’d hoped for more even though his side are 14th in the table, eight points above the relegation zone.
“No I’m not happy with the points we have,” he added. “We should have more points. I don’t look back as we can’t change the results, I look forward.”
An update on Michael Olise from the boss 🗣️
— Crystal Palace F.C. (@CPFC) April 5, 2024
Palace have struggled with injuries this season with key men Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise both missing for lengthy periods.
Eze is now fit while Olise will be in the squad tomorrow, albeit limited in the minutes he can play.
“All the players who were in the squad the last game are fit,” Glasner said.
“Michael Olise is coming back into the squad. We spoke with the medical team and they advised us for 15 to 20 minutes. He is ready. It gives us one more option at the end of the game and we’re happy that he’s back again.
“We’ll give him the time to find his best performance and his quality. Therefore he needs minutes, he needs rhythm, he needs training. I don’t expect him to be at the best level after eight or nine weeks of injury.
“We hope that it’s still a tight game at the end then maybe he can have one or two decisive situations to decide the game for us.”
