Newcastle centre-half Jamaal Lascelles has been ruled out for up to nine months after rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during yesterday’s 4-3 win over West Ham.
The former Nottingham Forest man went down 15 minutes into the game at St James’ Park and, despite carrying on initially, had to be replaced by Emil Krafth.
