A 94th-minute Willian penalty was enough for Fulham to clinch a 3-2 victory over Wolves in a topsy-turvy Premier League encounter at Craven Cottage on Monday.
Wolves twice pegged Fulham back and had their sights set on a point, but Joao Gomes’ challenge on Harry Wilson handed Willian the chance to score his second from the spot, and he duly converted to earn Marco Silva’s men the three points.
Fulham were ahead just seven minutes in, Antonee Robinson cutting the ball back for Alex Iwobi to tap home from close range, before excellent work from Jean-Ricner Bellegarde got Wolves their first leveller, twisting and turning past Robinson before lofting a cross for Matheus Cunha to nod into the bottom corner.
Fulham would regain their lead after half-time, Nelson Semedo bringing down Tom Cairney for a penalty before Willian coolly sent Jose Sa the wrong way to put the hosts 2-1 up.

But Hwang Hee-chan looked to have earned Wolves a hard-fought point on the road when he was brought down by Tim Ream for a penalty, before picking himself up to thump home his spot-kick.
However, Willian kept his composure in added time as he rifled home from the spot for the second time to win the game and move Fulham 10 points clear of the bottom three.
