Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola believes tomorrow’s trip to fellow strugglers Everton gives his side a “good chance” of their first win in the Premier League this season.
The Toffees have lost all four league games at Goodison Park while Bournemouth are yet to taste victory and sit second from bottom.
Bournemouth have played Tottenham, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool in their opening seven games, a run that Iraola accepted would be difficult, but he believes a trip to Everton represents a real opportunity for his team.
He said: “We knew it was a possibility [to be winless at this stage]. We want to be with more points. But now, I think in the next games we will see where we are exactly as a football team.
“It’s the first chance we have to obtain the first win tomorrow at Everton away. I think it’s a good chance.”

Despite their woeful home record, Everton come into the game on the back of some decent form having won at Brentford in the league and at Aston Villa in the EFL Cup.
Iraola added: “I feel they’ve been the better side in the games they’ve played at home. The other day they were better [against Luton].
“They won against Brentford away. We have to be ready to defend crosses, they have very good wingers so we have to be ready to defend.
“We need to not make defensive errors that cost goals. The big errors in our boxes are taking us away from wins.
“You have to be focused for the full 90 minutes. That’s what the big teams do, they don’t make mistakes in their own boxes. You have to be focused, or your very good game becomes a bad game. At the end when you lose three seconds of focus, it’s not worth it.
“We are clear on what we want to do, how we want to do it but we know how we’re going to try do those things.”
