Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was today named the Premier League Manager of the Month for January with Reds striker Diogo Jota landing the players’ award.
Klopp stunned the world of football in January by announcing his intention to leave Anfield at the end of the season but it did little to affect his team’s performances as they won all three league games last month.

It’s the 10th time Klopp has won the award, placing him joint fourth on the all-time Premier League list, level with David Moyes and behind Pep Guardiola (11), Arsene Wenger (15) and Alex Ferguson (27).
In January, Liverpool beat Newcastle, Bournemouth and Chelsea, scoring four goals on each occasion.

Jota scored three and assisted two of those 12 goals to also pick up some silverware.
He also helped Liverpool cope with the absence of Mohamed Salah who was away on Egypt duty at the African Cup of Nations.
It is the first time the Portugal forward has won the award.
