AC Milan forward Olivier Giroud will leave the Italian club when his contract ends and join MLS team LAFC, according to a report.
France veteran Giroud has reached an agreement to move to Los Angeles on an 18-month contract with the option of an extension for the same period, RMC Sport has said.
The outlet added that the move will keep the 57-goal top scorer for Les Bleus out of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games football tournament, which run from July 24 until August 10.
Should the move happen, Giroud will be reunited with goalkeeper Hugo Lloris. The pair won the 2018 Fifa World Cup and reached the final of the tournament in 2022.
