Last week’s differential team amassed a whopping 79 points, and that’s without a captain and a goalkeeper who didn’t play! Can we better that in Gameweek 4?
All selected players have an ownership below 15% at the time of publication:
3-4-3
GOALKEEPER: Robert Sanchez – £5.2m – Chelsea
Fixture: vs Nottingham Forest (H)
Aiming for back-to-back Premier League clean sheets in a Chelsea side that appears to be finding its feet under new manager Maurizio Pochettino.
DEFENDER: Josko Gvardiol – £5.1m – Man City
Fixture: vs Fulham (H)
Looks like he may become one of the first names on Pep Guardiola’s team sheet this season. Will not stay a differential for long.
DEFENDER: Destiny Udogie – £4.6m – Tottenham
Fixture: vs Burnley (a)
Has impressed so far with a 12-point return in Gameweek 3 a sign of things to come for the Spurs full-back.
DEFENDER: Malo Gusto – £4.1m – Chelsea
Fixture: vs Nottingham Forest (H)
Just about squeezes into this article but his ownership is growing all the time. Looks an excellent source of assists down the right flank.
MIDFIELDER: Phil Foden – £7.6m – Man City
Fixture: vs Fulham (H)
Likely to start now he is back to full fitness and has shown flashes of his best form already this season. Could be a big year for the England international.
MIDFIELDER: Raheem Sterling – £7.2m – Chelsea
Fixture: vs Nottingham Forest (H)
Like Gusto, Sterling just about qualifies as a differential under our criteria, so it would be wise to jump on him while his ownership is still fairly moderate.
MIDFIELDER: Eberechi Eze – £6.4m – Crystal Palace
Fixture: vs Wolves (H)
Has played well in all three games without registering an attacking return, and turned the midweek League Cup tie in Crystal Palace’s favour after he came off the bench.
MIDFIELDER: James Ward-Prowse – £6.0m – West Ham
Fixture: vs Luton (a)
A bright start to his West Ham career has seen the former Saints midfielder register a goal and two assists in just two appearances for the Hammers.
FORWARD: Julian Alvarez – £6.6m – Man City
Fixture: vs Fulham (H)
Did everything but score against Sheffield Utd, and it surely won’t be long before he finds the net again.
FORWARD: Taiwo Awoniyi – £6.5m – Nottingham Forest
Fixture: vs Chelsea (a)
Simply can’t stop scoring at the moment, and despite a tough fixture against Chelsea in Gameweek 4, expect him to bury any chance that comes his way.
FORWARD: Odsonne Edouard – £5.5m – Crystal Palace
Fixture: vs Wolves (H)
Scored in Gameweek 1 as well as in the midweek League Cup match. Will be keen to keep fellow striker Jean-Philippe Mateta on the bench.
