Gameweek 12 began with a dramatic 2-1 win for Wolves at home to Spurs, Gary O’Neil’s side coming from behind in second-half stoppage time to ultimately triumph. There were also victories for Arsenal against Burnley, Everton away at Crystal Palace and Man Utd vs Luton. Bournemouth overcame Newcastle 2-0 at the Vitality Stadium, Dominic Solanke (£6.5m) scoring two goals.
Aston Villa got back to winning ways by beating Fulham 3-1 at Villa Park, Ollie Watkins (£8.5m) getting himself back on the scoresheet following a goal-drought which had lasted two gameweeks. Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) made it ten Premier League goals for the season, scoring twice as Liverpool got the better of Brentford by three goals to nil. Brighton and Sheffield Utd played out a 1-1 draw but in a thrilling contest at London Stadium, West Ham came out the right end of a 3-2 scoreline against Nottingham Forest. Gameweek 12 concluded with arguably the match of the season, Chelsea and Man City drawing 4-4 in what will likely go down as one of the all-time great Premier League encounters.
We’re now edging ever closer until the Gameweek 13 deadline of 11:00 on Saturday. That means it’s time to run the rule over the latest round of Premier League fixtures following the international break and see which of those players offer good value for FPL managers.

Key Gameweek 13 Fixture Ramifications
All eyes will be on the Etihad Stadium to begin Gameweek 13 as Man City take on Liverpool in a bumper top-of-the-table clash. Matches between these two rarely disappoint, especially when Man City are the hosts and both teams contain multiple FPL assets who may have a huge part to play. Salah is the obvious heavy-hitter and his brilliant goalscoring record against Pep Guardiola’s side cannot be ignored. Despite the injury doubts surrounding Erling Haaland (£14.0m), most will expect the Man City striker who boasts 96 fantasy points to his name so far this season to line-up against the Reds from the start. But opposite forward Darwin Nunez (£7.5m) is coming off the back of three goals for Uruguay across the international break and five attacking returns in as many Premier League gameweeks for Liverpool.
Spurs will likely see Man City and Liverpool playing as a big opportunity for them and with James Maddison (£7.9m) out through injury, Heung-Min Son (£9.5m) becomes even more important for them offensively against Aston Villa in Gameweek 13. Meanwhile in goal, Guglielmo Vicario (£5.2m) will be eying up his first clean sheet since Gameweek 9, which also came at home.
From an FPL perspective, an away fixture away to Burnley would be seen as a very enticing prospect for West Ham players in Gameweek 13. However, a knee injury for Jarrod Bowen (£7.7m) puts into doubt his participation, which would be a huge blow for over a quarter of a million fantasy managers who transferred in the wide-man during the international break. Michail Antonio (£5.8m) is also expected to miss out, which could well lead to the return of former popular FPL striker Danny Ings (£5.6m) to the West Ham starting XI come Gameweek 13.
