FPL 2023-24 – Gameweek 14 Injury Update

-

There are plenty of injury flags floating around at the moment, so we take a look at some of those that effect FPL managers.

Alisson Becker (£5.6m) – Liverpool
The Liverpool shot stopper was struggling with what looked like a hamstring strain towards the end of the clash with Man City last weekend, and Jurgen Klopp has now confirmed that he will be out for at least two weeks.

Status: OUT

Malo Gusto (£4.1m) – Chelsea
With Reece James suspended in Gameweek 14, Gusto is a natural replacement at right-back but a tendon strain puts his participation in doubt.

Status: 50/50

Diogo Jota (£7.7m) – Liverpool
Like Alisson, Jota suffered an injury last Saturday, and Klopp essentially confirmed on Wednesday that the Portuguese star would not feature in Gameweek 14.

Status: OUT

Jarrod Bowen (£7.6m) – West Ham
Bowen was close to featuring in the squad in Gameweek 13, suggesting that the West Ham star should recover in time for the Gameweek 14 clash with West Ham.

Status: LIKELY TO BE AVAILABLE

Kaoru Mitoma (£6.5m) – Brighton
An injury picked up on international duty meant that Mitoma missed out in Gameweek 13, but there is a reasonable chance he will be fit for the weekend.

Status: 50/50

Eberechi Eze (£6.2m) – Crystal Palace
It has been a tough season for Eze from an injury perspective and, after only recently returning from a lay-off, he injured his ankle in Gameweek 13. It remains to be seen whether he’ll be okay for the weekend.

Status: PROBABLY OUT

Pedro Neto (£5.6m) – Wolves
Neto has missed the last three gameweeks with a thigh/hamstring issue, and although it was thought he would be back by now, he will not feature in Gameweek 14.

Status: OUT

Callum Wilson (£7.8m) – Newcastle
Although we haven’t had an update on Wilson’s condition for a couple of weeks, a Gameweek 14 return seems highly unlikely for the Newcastle striker.

Status: PROBABLY OUT
