With the Gameweek 14 deadline looming large, we take a look at the present injury status of a number of important FPL assets following the most recent pre-match press conferences.

Check out some more FPL Tips here:
Form Players ahead of Gameweek 14
Gameweek 14 Rotation Risks
Gameweek 14 Bandwagons

Ollie Watkins (£8.5m) – Aston Villa
Watkins was not in the squad for Aston Villa’s Europa Conference victory in midweek, boss Unai Emery revealing afterwards that Watkins was not fully fit and dealing with a “small pain”. The forward is set for a late fitness test ahead of Gameweek 14

Status: 50/50

Ansu Fati (£6.5m) – Arsenal
The Barcelona loanee suffered a bad hamstring injury after starting for Brighton in Gameweek 13 and was withdrawn after just 20 minutes. He is expected to be out until well into the New Year.

Status: OUT

Christopher Nkunku (£7.3m) – Chelsea
One of Chelsea’s big summer signings, Nkunku has yet to make his debut for the Blues due to a knee injury, but will be assessed ahead of Gameweek 14 and could feature in some shape or form.

Status: 50/50

Alisson Becker (£5.6m) – Liverpool
Liverpool’s first-choice goalkeeper picked up a hamstring injury deep into second half stoppage time against Man City last weekend and is expected to miss the next couple of weeks.

Status: OUT

Sven Botman (£4.5m) – Newcastle
Botman’s knee problem has prevented him from training with the Newcastle squad at present, so Gameweek 14 should come far too soon for him to play any part

Status: PROBABLY OUT

James Maddison (£7.9m) – Tottenham
The creative hub of Spurs’ midfield, Maddison’s ankle problem is still expected to see him sidelined until 2024

Status: OUT

Jarrod Bowen (£7.6m) – West Ham
Bowen missed Gameweek 13 with a knee injury and David Moyes has confirmed that he’ll lease with the West Ham medical team regarding the winger’s availability for Gameweek 14, with a decision likely being made late on.

Status: 50/50

Pedro Neto (£5.6m) – Wolves
Confirmed to be back on the grass after an injured hamstring has seen the Wolves wideman miss the past three gameweeks and whilst Gameweek 14 will come too soon for Neto, it is hoped that he will join his teammates on the training pitch soon.

Status: OUT
