Who scored the most FPL points in Gameweek 16? Let’s take a look,
Heung-Min Son (£9.6m) – 17 Points
After a five-game winless run in the Premier League, Tottenham needed a spark in Gameweek 16, and Son duly delivered. The South Korean recorded a goal and two assists in Spurs’ 4-1 win over Newcastle, which together with his three bonus points, produced a total of 17 FPL points. That marked Son’s sixth double-figure return of the season, and he looks like an essential pick right now in any fantasy midfield.
Richarlison (£6.6m) – 15 Points
Another Tottenham asset also raked in the points over the weekend, with Richarlison putting in what was surely his best performance of the season. The Brazilian, who has endured a stop-start campaign due to injuries and off-the-field issues, scored twice against the Magpies from a central striker role. Registered as a midfielder in FPL, if Richarlison can produce consistent returns, he could become a popular asset in the coming weeks.
Marcos Senesi (£4.4m) – 15 Points
It was thought that Senesi’s 14-point return in Bournemouth’s 0-2 victory at Crystal Palace in Gameweek 15 was something of a one-off, but the Argentinian proved the doubters wrong by going one better in Gameweek 16, finishing on 15 points. That is now 29 points amassed over the last two gameweeks for the centre-back, who may start to pick up some new owners give that the Cherries take on Luton and Nottingham Forest in the next couple of gameweeks.
Tosin Adarabioyo (£4.3m) – 14 Points
Having won their last two games 5-0, many are wondering what changed at Fulham, and while Tosin’s presence isn’t the only factor, it is no co-incidence that these are the only Premier League matches he has started all season. A calming presence at the back, the giant centre-back got on the scoresheet in the victory over West Ham on Sunday, and with his two bonus points, finished the match on 14 fantasy points.
