Thiago Silva’s wife has apologised for suggesting Chelsea should sack Mauricio Pochettino.
Belle Silva went on X on Sunday during the 4-2 defeat at home to Wolves and wrote: “It’s time to change. If you wait any longer it will be too late.”

Pochettino revealed yesterday that Thiago Silva had come to see him to clarify the situation with the conversation ending on good terms and the former Tottenham boss describing their relationship as “very good”.
Belle returned to X this morning to apologise for her earlier message, explaining she was a “passionate Chelsea fan” and was “saddened by defeats”.
She wrote: “I’m sorry that my personal outburst as a passionate Chelsea fan has caused such an impact.
“I’m passionate about the team, I thrive on victories and I’m saddened by defeats. We all want the same thing, a winning team, come on Chelsea!!”

Chelsea go to Aston Villa tonight in an FA Cup fourth-round replay with the pressure firmly on Pochettino, although he claimed yesterday to have had positive communication with the club’s owners.
