We offer some differential options in each position to give FPL managers a helping hand ahead of Gameweek 5.

All selected players have an ownership below 15% at the time of publication:

3-4-3

GOALKEEPER: Nick Pope – £5.5m – Newcastle
Fixture: vs Brentford (H)

Is surely due a clean sheet after a tough run of fixtures to start the season. One of the top FPL goalkeepers last season.

DEFENDER: Kyle Walker – £5.2m – Man City
Fixture: vs West Ham (a)

Hasn’t missed a single minute of action in six games for Man City in all competitions this season – an impressive feat in Pep Guardiola’s ever-changing side.

DEFENDER: Destiny Udogie – £4.7m – Tottenham
Fixture: vs Sheffield Utd (H)

Two attacking returns so far for a full-back who still just about qualifies as a differential under our criteria.

DEFENDER: Lucas Digne – £4.5m – Aston Villa
Fixture: vs Crystal Palace (H)

Going under the radar but has logged five assists in five appearances in all competitions this season.

MIDFIELDER: Heung-Min Son – £9.1m – Tottenham
Fixture: vs Sheffield Utd (H)

Scored a hat-trick against Burnley in Gameweek 4 and now takes on another of the promoted sides in the form of Sheffield Utd.

MIDFIELDER: Phil Foden – £7.6m – Man City
Fixture: vs West Ham (a)

Assists in his last three appearances for Man City and was also on the scoresheet for England over the international break.

MIDFIELDER: Moussa Diaby – £6.6m – Aston Villa
Fixture: Crystal Palace (H)

Three attacking returns in his four Premier League appearances and is occupying an advanced position for new club Aston Villa.

MIDFIELDER: Eberechi Eze – £6.3m – Crystal Palace
Fixture: vs Aston Villa (a)

Got off the mark in the Premier League in Gameweek 4 and an impressive cameo for England over the international break is bound to have given him confidence.

FORWARD: Darwin Nunez – £7.4m – Liverpool
Fixture: vs Wolves (a)

Four attacking returns in his last two appearances for Liverpool and also recorded an assist for Uruguay on international duty.

FORWARD: Julian Alvarez – £6.7m – Man City
Fixture: vs West Ham (a)

His 14-point haul in Gameweek 4 showed how explosive he can be. Will not stay a differential for long.

FORWARD: Taiwo Awoniyi – £6.6m – Nottingham Forest
Fixture: vs Burnley (H)

Scoring streak ended against Chelsea, but has nevertheless either scored or assisted in his last eight Premier League appearances. Faces promoted side Burnley in Gameweek 5.
