FPL 2023-24 – Free Hit XI For Gameweek 10

-

If it’s Free Hit tips you are after for Gameweek 10, we’ve put together a suggested XI for you to consider.

The following team is within the £100m budget at the time of writing, with the cheapest possible substitutes used:

4-5-1

GOALKEEPER: David Raya – £4.8m – Arsenal
Fixture: vs Sheffield Utd (H)

Arguably the easiest fixture on paper for a clean sheet in Gameweek 10, but just make sure you have a playing second goalkeeper in case Raya loses his place.

DEFENDER: Kieran Trippier – £7.0m – Newcastle
Fixture: vs Wolves (a)

Six assists in his last four Premier League games for a watertight Newcastle side.

DEFENDER: Reece James – £5.3m – Chelsea
Fixture: vs Brentford (H)

Returned to action in Gameweek 9 and represents exactly the kind of high-risk, high reward punt you should take on a Free Hit.

DEFENDER: Pedro Porro – £5.2m – Tottenham
Fixture: vs Crystal Palace (a)

Four clean sheets and two attacking returns in his eight Premier League appearances for Tottenham this season.

DEFENDER: Matty Cash – £5.1m – Aston Villa
Fixture: vs Luton (H)

Favourable fixture for a full-back who has developed a knack for attacking returns this season.

MIDFIELDER: Mo Salah – £12.8m – Liverpool
Fixture: vs Nottingham Forest (H)

Incredibly consistent point-scorer and will be one of the leading captaincy choices in Gameweek 10.

MIDFIELDER: Martin Odegaard – £8.5m – Arsenal
Fixture: vs Sheffield Utd (H)

Very much a fixture pick, but given how leaky Sheffield Utd are, fully justified.

MIDFIELDER: Bukayo Saka – £8.5m – Arsenal
Fixture: vs Sheffield Utd (H)

Eight goal involvements in the Premier League campaign, and could certainly score big against the promoted strugglers.

MIDFIELDER: Jarrod Bowen – £7.4m – West Ham
Fixture: vs Everton (H)

The West Ham star just keeps scoring, so it would he risky to go without him on a Free Hit.

MIDFIELDER: Moussa Diaby – £6.7m – Aston Villa
Fixture: vs Luton (H)

Two goals and four assists to date in the Premier League, and has a plum home fixture against Luton in Gameweek 10.

FORWARD: Ollie Watkins – £8.3m – Aston Villa
Fixture: vs Luton (H)

In simply irresistible form and is firmly putting himself in the ‘essential’ bracket right now.
