FPL 2023-24 – Free Hit XI For Gameweek 13

-

With the final international break of the year coming to an end, it’s time to get back into FPL mode with a suggested Free Hit team for Gameweek 13.

The following team is within the £100m budget at the time of writing, with the cheapest possible substitutes used:

3-5-2

GOALKEEPER: Aaron Ramsdale – £4.7m – Arsenal
Fixture: vs Brentford (a)

Will be determined to make an impression given that current first-choice goalkeeper David Raya is ineligible to face his parent club.

DEFENDER: William Saliba – £5.4m – Arsenal
Fixture: vs Brentford (a)

Five clean sheets this season and showed his attacking threat by scoring against Burnley in Gameweek 12.

DEFENDER: Diogo Dalot – £5.0m – Man Utd
Fixture: vs Everton (a)

Has started Man Utd’s last ten Premier League games, and has helped his side keep consecutive clean sheets in the division.

DEFENDER: Joachim Andersen – £5.1m – Crystal Palace
Fixture: vs Luton (a)

The second highest FPL point scorer among defenders, and faces off against promoted side Luton in Gameweek 13.

MIDFIELDER: Mo Salah – £13.0m – Liverpool
Fixture: vs Man City (a)

The only player who has already surpassed 100 FPL points this season. A no-brainer.

MIDFIELDER: Heung Min-Son – £9.7m – Tottenham
Fixture: vs Aston Villa (H)

Remains Spurs’ chief goal threat despite having blanked in the last two games.

MIDFIELDER: Bruno Fernandes – £8.3m – Man Utd
Fixture: vs Everton (a)

His last five attacking returns in all competitions have come away from home, and next faces an Everton side reeling from their ten-point deduction.

MIDFIELDER: Bukayo Saka – £8.6m – Arsenal
Fixture: vs Brentford (a)

Ten attacking returns in the Premier League this season and takes on a Brentford side he recorded three assists against last season.

MIDFIELDER: Eberechi Eze – £6.1m – Crystal Palace
Fixture: vs Luton (a)

Bagged a goal and assist since his return from injury in Gameweek 11, and has a favourable fixture this weekend.

FORWARD: Dominic Solanke – £6.4m – Bournemouth
Fixture: vs Sheffield Utd (a)

Scored a brace against Newcastle last time out, and only three strikers have accumulated more FPL points this season.

FORWARD: Odsonne Edouard – £5.5m – Crystal Palace
Fixture: vs Luton (a)

Favourable fixture for a striker who has already matched his Premier League goal tally from last season.
