FPL 2023-24 – Gameweek 15 Highest Scorers

-

We cast an eye on the top-performers of Gameweek 15 from an FPL point of view following an entertaining round of midweek fixtures

Midfielders dominated when it came to top Fantasy Premier League scorers in Gameweek 15, with Andreas Pereira (£5.3m) topping the list. One of Fulham’s main creative outlets, Pereira recorded a hat-trick of assists as the Cottagers thrashed Nottingham Forest 5-0 in West London. Behind him, three other midfielders managed a score of 14 fantasy points respectively. Everton’s Dwight McNeil (£5.4m), Pereira’s teammate Alex Iwobi (£5.3m) and Man Utd man Scott McTominay (£4.9m). The Scottish international has proved himself capable of big hauls in the past and two goals in United’s 2-1 win over Chelsea was his second Premier League brace of the season.

Fulham assets really cashed in when it came to FPL points in Gameweek 15 with Raul Jimenez (£5.2m) also right among the points. Once a hugely popular fantasy asset with Wolves, Mexican striker Jimenez showed signs of rolling back those days with two goals, doubling his over goal tally across the campaign. Also with two attacking returns was Gabriel Jesus, the Arsenal forward scoring one and assisting one, finishing with 11 FPL points as Arsenal triumphed in a 3-4 thriller against Luton.

Robert Sanchez (£4.6m) was the only goalkeeper to pick up a double-figure score in Gameweek 15, that despite failing to kick a clean sheet in Chelsea’s defeat at Old Trafford. Sanchez saved a penalty and accumulated seven saves overall, enough to gain the maximum three bonus points and 11 points overall.

In defence, we had a tie when it came to the top points-scorers, with two players racking up 14 points. Virgil van Dijk (£6.1m) got on the scoresheet from a corner as his Liverpool side kept a clean sheet away at Sheffield Utd. Meanwhile Bournemouth were also victorious to nil on the road, Marcos Senesi (£4.3m) scoring one of their two goals against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
