-

Now that all the press conferences have taken place, it’s time to take stock of the injury situation surrounding some key FPL assets.

Check out some more FPL Tips here:
Gameweek 16 Team News & Predicted XIs
Gameweek 15 Highest Scorers

Alisson (£5.6m) – Liverpool
It was initially anticipated that Alisson would be out for longer, but a recent return to training indicates that the Brazilian has a strong chance of returning to Liverpool’s starting line-up in Gameweek 16.

Status: LIKELY TO BE AVAILABLE

Jose Sa (£5.0m) – Wolves
After missing Gameweek 15 with a minor injury, Sa has been declared “100% fit” by Wolves boss Gary O’Neil, so it seems certain that he will start on the weekend.

Status: AVAILABLE

Alphonse Areola (£4.3m) – West Ham
The popular (yet underperforming) budget goalkeeper was a surprise omission from Thursday’s clash with Tottenham, and it remains to be seen whether he recovers from a wrist injury in time for the Hammers’ meeting with Fulham.

Status: 50/50

Jamaal Lascelles (£4.2m) – Newcastle
The Magpies centre-back was a late withdrawal on Thursday evening against West Ham, but the reason is understood to be nothing more than a dead leg, so he should at least be part of the Newcastle squad this weekend.

Status: LIKELY TO BE AVAILABLE

Heung-Min Son (£9.6m) – Tottenham
There have been some mixed messages about Son’s condition after he was forced off the pitch on Thursday, but there does seem to be a good chance that he’s available to face Newcastle on Sunday.

Status: LIKELY TO BE AVAILABLE

Jeremy Doku (£6.7m) – Man City
Pep Guardiola did not mention anything about Doku’s fitness in his pre-match press conference, so it is currently unknown whether he makes the Man City squad in Gameweek 16.

Status: 50/50

Marcus Rashford (£8.5m) – Man Utd
Rashford missed training on Friday due to illness, putting his Gameweek 16 involvement into question.

Status: 50/50
