The State of Play
Everton begin the weekend’s round of fixtures sitting just above the bottom three and the relegation places with another points deduction looming. The Toffees are in serious danger and they come into this one on the back of desperately earning a 1-1 draw against Newcastle United at St James’ Park on Tuesday evening. They are winless in the Premier League since mid-December.
Burnley are very much in the bottom three but are somehow giving themselves a bit of a chance as they try and pull off what would be a miraculous escape. The Clarets come into this one on the back of a 1-1 draw at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers at Turf Moor on Tuesday evening. They are now unbeaten in their last four matches in the league either side of the March international break.

Burnley remain without defensive duo Jordan Beyer and Ameen Al Dakhil but they could both play again this season. The Clarets are also missing key attackers such as Aaron Ramsey, Luca Koleosho and Nathan Redmond.
Expected Line-ups
Everton: Pickford; Coleman, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; McNeil, Young, Garner, Doucoure, Harrison; Calvert-Lewin

What they Said
Sean Dyche was keen to insist upon the importance of Everton scoring ‘ugly goals and set-pieces’ because their performances are not getting the results that they would possibly deserve.
Vincent Kompany has been straightforward in discussing Burnley’s potential survival saying ‘try and win as many as you can, I keep it really simple.’
When and How to Watch
This match will be played at Goodison Park at 15:00 on Saturday April 6th but will not be televised live in the UK. It will also not be able to be streamed in the UK either.
Prediction
Former Burnley boss Sean Dyche is coming under pressure at Goodison Park with Everton having managed just one win in their last 17 matches across all competitions. They begin the weekend sitting four points above the bottom three and seven clear of Burnley. Burnley will go to Merseyside with a fair bit of confidence and belief of at least scoring and both teams scoring would seem a good bet for what is a must win six-pointer for both sides.
