Luton Town boss Rob Edwards has been nominated for the Premier League’s Manager of the Month award for January, having overseen a dramatic revival of the Hatters’ fortunes in recent weeks.
Edwards is up against three big names, with Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp, Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola and Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta all nominated after seeing their teams post 100 per cent records throughout January.
Luton ended January with a thumping 4-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion, having fought back to draw 1-1 with Burnley in their only other league game last month.

The Hatters are now unbeaten in six games across all competitions (three wins, three draws), and have only lost one of their last 10 since mid-December.
They are currently one point clear of Everton, who occupy the final place in the relegation zone after receiving a 10-point deduction for breaching the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules.

Edwards is not the only Luton representative up for individual honours, with striker Elijah Adebayo nominated for the Player of the Month prize after netting a hat-trick against Brighton.
Liverpool duo Diogo Jota and Conor Bradley are also on the shortlist, as is City star Kevin De Bruyne, who has been in fine form since returning from injury at the start of the month.
Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes and Tottenham striker Richarlison are the other players nominated for the award, the recipient of which is decided by votes from football fans and a panel of experts.
