FPL 2023-24 – Form Players Ahead Of Gameweek 11

-

With the Gameweek 11 deadline this Saturday morning, we cast an eye on a number of form players giving FPL managers reason to sit up and take notice.

Brentford’s Bryan Mbuemo (£6.7m) has rediscovered the form that made him such a highly-owned FPL asset in the opening few weeks of the season. Each of the Bees’ last two games have seen him score once and set up another in back-to-back wins for Thomas Frank’s side. With 17 fantasy points gained over the course of those two gameweeks, he’s certainly one to consider for FPL managers going into Gameweek 11, as Brentford host West Ham.

FPL heavy-hitters Heung-Min Son (9.6m) and Mohamed Salah (£12.9m) maintained their respective goal-scoring streaks in Gameweek 10. While the former boasts five goals in his last five league appearances, Salah has netted five times across the last three gameweeks. Salah’s Liverpool teammate Darwin Nunez (£7.5m) is coming off the back of a winning goal away at Bournemouth in the Reds’ midweek Carabao Cup fixture. The Uruguayan striker is starting to attract significant Gameweek 11 interest after accruing three goals and three assists following Liverpool’s last five games in all competitions. Jurgen Klopp’s men travel to Luton this Sunday.

While Aston Villa boast plenty of lucrative fantasy assets, the form of Douglas Luiz (£5.6m) is certainly raising eyebrows within the FPL world. Since Gameweek 7, Luiz has racked up 32 fantasy points, including three goals an assist and his cheap price-tag enhances his appeal ahead of Villa’s Gameweek 11 trip to Luton.

Back-to-back blanks for Erling Haaland (£14.0m) seem a long time ago now, with the Norwegian having rediscovered his shooting boots. Man City’s last three games in all competitions has seen Haaland accumulate five goals and an assist. You have to go back to Gameweek 2 for the last time Haaland failed to score at home in the Premier League, which bodes well going into Gameweek 11 as Man City take on Bournemouth.
