FPL 2023-24 – Gameweek 10 Movers & Shakers

-

Who’s in and who’s out? We take a look at the movers and shakers in the FPL transfer market this week.

TRANSFERS IN

Ollie Watkins (£8.3m) – Aston Villa
Yes, it’s that man again. Watkins once more appears at the top of the ‘transfers in’ charts, with almost 400k new managers having acquired his services this week (at the time of writing). The Aston Villa striker is showing no signs of slowing down his incredible point-scoring output, and he is now the second-most owned forward behind Erling Haaland.

Mo Salah (£12.6m) – Liverpool
Another familiar name in this article, Salah was at it again in Gameweek 9 with a brace against Everton in the Merseyside Derby. That resulted in 15 FPL points, and those who didn’t already own the Egyptian are now scrambling to find ways to fit him into their squads. With Nottingham Forest the opponents up next for Liverpool, it’s not surprising to see Salah’s ownership continuing to increase.

TRANSFERS OUT

Pervis Estupinan (£5.1m) – Brighton
It’s a testament to how high Estupinan’s ownership was that he is the most sold player for the third gameweek in succession. The Brighton full-back has been injured for the last two gameweeks and is highly likely to miss out in Gameweek 10. Given the fact that the Ecuadorian’s ownership still stands in excess of 25%, we can expect to see plenty more sales of the attacking full-back.

Marcus Rashford (£8.7m) – Man Utd
Many who had kept hold of Rashford were willing to give him the fixture against bottom-of-the-table Sheffield Utd in Gameweek 9, but after another frustrating blank, patience has been lost with the Man Utd man. Rashford has now lost £0.3m in value since the start of the season, with five blanks in a row simply not good enough for a player of his stature.
