FPL 2023-24 – Gameweek 11 Movers & Shakers

-

All Things FPL delves into the FPL transfer market to see who fantasy bosses are buying and selling in the run-up to Gameweek 11.

TRANSFERS IN

Eddie Nketiah (£5.6m) – Arsenal
The Arsenal striker’s ownership is sharply increasing this week off the back of his hat-trick against bottom-of-the-table Sheffield Utd in Gameweek 10. With Gabriel Jesus currently nursing an injury with an unknown return date, Nketiah could be set for a sustained run in the side, and at a bargain-basement price of just £5.6m, he has proven too tempting an option to ignore for many FPL managers.

Bryan Mbeumo (£6.7m) – Brentford
Mbeumo struck four times in Brentford’s first four Premier League games of the season and was a hugely popular FPL asset in the early weeks, but four successive blanks resulted in a decrease in ownership. However, the Cameroonian international has returned to his point-scoring ways with a goal and assist in each of his last two games, both double-figure hauls, and so he is back in FPL managers’ good books having gained almost 200k new owners so far this week.

TRANSFERS OUT

Alexander Isak (£7.4m) – Newcastle
It seems that Isak features at the top of the ‘most sold’ list nearly every week, and it is no different this time around with the Newcastle frontman currently suffering from a groin injury. The prognosis at the moment is that the Swede won’t be fit to return to the Magpies squad until after the November international break, prompting his FPL owners to look for alternatives as Gameweek 11 approaches.

Destiny Udogie (£4.8m) – Tottenham
Udogie has been a popular FPL defender this season given that he is a budget-friendly route into in-form Spurs’ defence, but a muscular injury prevented his participation in Gameweek 10 and has prompted many of his owners to seek a replacement for their backlines. However, given that his injury is not thought to be serious, it may be prudent to avoid selling as the Italian could well make his return in Gameweek 11.
